ODF Medical Ltd. is a privately owned Israeli based company, founded in the year 2001 as part of the Wave Group Ltd. Wave Group, the holding company of ODF Medical, was founded in 2001 by Mr. Ehud Gal, after completing a highly successful career as the Scientific Deputy of the Chief Scientist of the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
ODF Medical’s mission is to be among the world leaders in developing
and marketing next generation medical imaging components and
devices, based on innovative optical solutions and advanced image
understanding technologies.
ODF Medical is currently advancing the development of select products and disposables. Our first product, the G-View™ Vaginal Imaging System, will provide the Obstetric and Gynecologic (Ob/Gyn) physician with a real time point of care visual imaging system, allowing for the detection of abnormalities in the vagina, vulva and cervix, as well as the performance of procedures such as Pap smears and biopsies. The company is in the final stages of the development of the G-View and commenced clinical trials in Q1/08, with the aim of obtaining CE MDD and FDA 510(k) approval in the second half of 2008.
Additional products under development include Endoscopy devices and accessories for various fields of the medical practice, as well as innovative patent protected miniature Omni view optical components.
